Part of a plan showing the military camp at Lydiard Park, c1947/8. The entire plan includes an index listing the functions of the various buildings At the time it was drawn up the camp was in use as a German POW camp but Swindon Council were already planning to convert the huts into temporary homes for local people, once the last German soldiers were repatriated.
