The programme contains an Order of Service for the unveiling of the Lydiard Tregoze War Memorial which took place at Hook on the afternoon December 4th 1920.

All ex-service men of the parish were invited to parade at the school (which stood close to the new memorial) just before the service which was lead by Revd. A Harrison and Revd. R Cowie. The hymns chosen for this sombre occasion were:

  • Fight the good fight with all thy might
  • Oh God our help in ages past
  • Abide with me; fast falls the eventide

Vernon St.John, 6th Viscount Bolingbroke performed the unveiling, the service ending with the sounding of The Last Post and God Save the King.
