This leather bound volume accompanied a magnificent rose bowl presented to Vernon Henry St.John on his coming of age on 15th March 1917. It records the names of the committee who organised the presentation and all the tenants who subscribed to it. This included past and present members of the tenantry and others associated with the estate from the Rector to the Gardeners, Woodsmen, Keepers, Tradesmen and Bailiffs.

The volume contains a beautifully lettered title page and was sourced by H. J Deacons and Son Ltd, the Swindon jewellers and silversmiths from whom the rosebowl was purchased. The volume cost £2 7s 6 d.
