The £5.3 million Lydiard Park Project (2004-7) included the restoration of the original lay-out of the18th century walled garden based on archaeological evidence. Intel Corporation UK made a significant financial contribution to the project and their volunteers took part in restoring the grid of paths, edging them with stone tiles.
