A cream flannelette nightdress made by Mabel Alice Cox for her wedding trousseau. Mabel, who originally came from Rutland, married Francis William (Frank) Rumming of Park Farm, Lydiard Tregoze on 12th March 1924. She was his second wife.

Mabel did the embroidery and a friend sewed the button holes. The nightdress was later reduced in size. It was kindly donated to Lydiard Park by Mabel's step-daughter, Kathleen Rumming.
