An article by Jane Eade which appeared in 'The Display of Heraldry/ The Heraldic Imagination in Arts and Culture', edited by Fiona Robertson and Peter N Linfield, London, for the Heraldry Society in 2019.

The article includes analysis of the 17th Century St. John family polyptych at St. Mary's Lydiard Tregoze, which Eade says 'stands out in the period as an example of ‘genealogical megalomania’.

Jane Eade is a Curator for the London and South East region of the National Trust and specializes in early British portraiture.
