Henry demolished the house, rebuilding it to the designs of James Gibbs. He renamed it Dawley Farm, decorating the interiors with paintings of rustic images.

Here he entertained his celebrated friends:- Dryden, Pope, Swift and Voltaire.

The House was demolished in 1770 and the site subsequently developed.
