The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of her reign, was celebrated at Lydiard Park over the Bank Holiday Weekend (2nd - 5th June 2022). A service of celebration was held at St. Mary's Lydiard Tregoze on 2nd June, attended by the Mayor of Swindon, Cllr Abdul Admin, Mayoress Subena Akhtar, South Swindon MP Sir Robert Buckland and Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Clare Garett.

The service was followed by the lighting of a beacon in front of Lydiard House attended by over 1000 people. The Beacon was lit by Clare Garett and Sir Robert Buckland gave a speech honouring Her Majesty.
