Hook Farm, Hook Street, photographed some time in the 1940's/1950's. This is a farm about which more is known than any other in Lydiard Tregoze, thanks to the diaries of its former tenant/owner Elliot Woolford.

Frances Bevan of the Friends of Lydiard Park is gradually transcribing Elliot's meticulous diaries which span the late 19th century to 1940's, describing both the life of the farm and the social life of the village.
