Letter from Lady Johanna St.John, writing from her home at Battersea Manor to Thomas Hardyman, her Steward at Lydiard Park, 25th October 1661.

Lady Johanna instructs Hardyman to send up blankets and feathers from Lydiard to Battersea. References to Lord Rochester and Ditchley and the building of Battersea Bridge.
