Carved Coat of Arms belonging to Sir John St. John,1st Bart (d. 1648) on the south face of St, Mary's Church, immediately above the entrance door to the St.John Chapel.

The entrance which faces Lydiard House, was used by the St. John family to enter the building. Sir John St.John was responsible for expanding the South Chapel as part of enlargements to the building as well as the great series of early 17th century family monuments for which the church is famous.
