Two wooden truckle cheddar cheese moulds with iron hoops that belonged to the Nutland family who ran a dairy at Lower Salthrop Farm, Lydiard Tregoze.

The two moulds are part of a collection of diary items from Lower Salthrop Farm which were donated by the Nutland family to the Wiltshire Life Society in 1980 and were subsequently transferred to the Wiltshire Museum, Devizes in 2010.

The illustration of a Wiltshire cheese press was drawn by Robin Tanner in the mid 20th century.
